What is a Care Package?  A care package represents more than just merchandise in a box, it's a reminder of home.  They are a tangible reminder to the soldier that they are appreciated, cared out, loved.  Simply stated, a care package is a little bit of home.

Care packages can range from the practical to the ludicrous.  They can contain the daily necessities such as hygiene products, or the fun and entertaining such as games and books.  They can be silly, sweet and everything in between.

Care packages and letters can be more valuable to the deployed soldier than food.  The quantity of what is in a box, or the length of a letter matters little, is the connection to home and the reminder that they are not alone or forgotten that makes all the difference in the world.
